July Highlights
July is the most astrologically active month of 2026. At the beginning of the year, the five most outer planets were slowly coming together in a loose, positive configuration. All of civilization will see massive changes. By the end of this year, these planetary patterns will have morphed into something more specific. Even though there’s a measurable linear progression through time, undeniably, this month is a fulcrum point in consciousness; we split the year into before and after.
Between the New Moon on the 14th, and the Full Moon on the 29th, the three transcendental planets (Uranus, Neptune & Pluto) make positive aspects to each other. This two week period of time highlights peace, upliftment, and encourages us to take bold steps. Although the vibrational shift will happen, it’s up to each of us to catch the falling rain and use it wisely.
Here is the sequence of astronomical events:
- 15th – Wednesday – Uranus Sextile Neptune – their Conjunction in 1993 was the beginning of the internet. This aspect is a further opening of technological innovation. It will take us one step further toward rewards and difficulties.
- 18th – Saturday – Uranus Trine Pluto, Sun Parallel Neptune – will show the flowering of the promises of their Conjunction in 1965-6. This was also a time of great technological innovation, but also great social upheaval and revolution in consciousness.
- 20th – Monday – Jupiter Trine Neptune, Jupiter Opposite Pluto – these two cycles have to do with the promotion of utopian ideas and unites the masses against the few entrenched plutocrats.
- 25th – Saturday – Neptune Sextile Pluto – The Conjunction of these two in 1892-3 was the beginning of the modern era. This Sextile supports cultural ideals rooted in the rapid growth of innovations leading to the reorganization of daily life. The astrologer, Rachel Lang, pointed out there were three exact Sextiles between Neptune and Pluto between 1950 – 1956 and then again between 1976 and 1986. This very potent aspect comes with so many other influences, and contributes to our forward momentum.
- We enter July with Mercury (planet of communication and transportation) Retrograde. The messenger of the gods transiting through Cancer (sign of memory) turns Direct on Thursday the 23rd. We eliminate obstacles over the next period by getting rid of physical and mental possessions we don’t need. It’s wise to acknowledge the past, then let go of everything holding us back.

Like all of you, this has been a time of change for me. Under doctor’s supervision, I have managed to stop taking blood pressure medication. Somehow I still get my work done.
