We are confronted with a series of challenges in 2016, both in our personal lives but also as a community of souls dwelling on the planets. We are all connected. What one person does effects all others in creation. The intensity of our personal focus and the purity of our intuitions will determine the extent of our positive effect on others. The most powerful force in creation is love. The release of a higher love during this year will change the course of history. Contributing to this higher love is the best use of our mental and emotional resources.
The whole month of January 2016 will be one of upliftment. Mercury (messenger of the gods) turns retrograde on the 5th and direct on the 25th. This three week period will be a time of reflection even as we move forward with the circumstances that just won’t wait. Jupiter (king of the gods) turns Retrograde on the 7th and stays very close to the North Node of the Moon (dharma) all month on the 23rd and 22nd degree of Virgo. This is so important because we are supplied with opportunity to clarify details and promote practical good will toward all.
The New Moon on the 9th at 8:30 PM EST on the 19th degree of Capricorn. is Conjunct Pluto and Trining the Jupiter North Node of the Moon Conjunction. Doing the right thing and being practical are second nature and unfolds in an easy and natural way. However, Venus Conjunct Saturnindicates that self-transformation , which is necessary, will require some sacrifices. Uranus Square the New Moon re-invokes the chaos and turbulence of the last 4 years. We will see more disturbances in the world but it is a reminder that the real revolution is within us. “Even the gods can not defeat a man who has won a victory over himself.” – Buddha.
The Sun enter Aquarius on January 20th at 10:28 AM EST. With the Moon square Jupiter we are reminded to be careful to not overextend ourselves. Both Moon (habits) and Jupiter (expansion) are in Mercury (reason) ruled signs. Mercury is Conjunct Pluto (lord of life and death)telling us to dive deeper into the origin of our troubles rather than looking for surface solutions.
The Full Moon on January 23rd at 8:45 PM EST on the 3rd degree of Aquarius/Leo. With Mercury retrograde Conjunct Pluto and Mars (god of war) squaring the Full Moon we will see powerful action, violence, and a desire collectively to find a new way forward. Saturn lord of the past) is approaching the trine to Uranus (lord of the future) showing that we must be able to stand between two worlds, the one passing away and the one being born. Saturn in Sagittarius reminds us that much of the energy, the structure, and the patience of the old world are necessary and needed as we cross into a new culture. It is just than now the new energy needs to take the lead and redirect our focus.
