Ann Benjamin is a 30 year veteran of ABC NEWS where she was the director for programs such as World News, Nightline, 20/20, and major special events.  In the fall of 2010 she followed her heart and left that world to pursue her dream of teaching yoga. In July 2011 she was certified by Laughing Lotus NYC.  She now divides her time between her passion for yoga and  those media projects which she finds interesting and rewarding. Peter Ferko:

Peter writes about finding Grace in everyday life for Happiness Series. He pursues happiness on several fronts. He has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years and is a teacher at ISHTA Yoga in New York where he trains new teachers. He is an artist in several media, including writing, photography, music, and graphic design. His latest project is a novel in which the main characters are all looking for a way to gracefully negotiate their lives, and it’s no surprise they are turning to yoga as a path.

 

Lauren Harper:

Lauren Harper hails from Hollywood, CA and is an actress, writer, photographer, blogger, and filmmaker. After graduating from Penn State with a B.A. in journalism, Lauren moved to the golden state in 2009 to pursue acting. Fast forward to 2011, she has continued to work, successfully carving a niche for herself in the entertainment industry. Rachel Hevesi, one of our beauty experts, is an accomplished make-up artist working in indie film in the New York area. After working in human resources in the corporate world for many years, Rachel made the decision to follow her creative instincts and pursue a career as a freelance makeup artist. Since completing the Professional Makeup Artistry program at Chic Studios NYC, she has been working with private clients, building her portfolio, and continuing to learn and play in the world of makeup artistry. She specializes in natural, day, evening, bridal and special occasion makeup application.

 

Jean Koerner:

Jean began practicing yoga in New York City in 1988 and is now a senior teacher of ISHTA (integrated sciences of hatha, tantra, and ayurveda) Yoga. Jean has used yoga to recover from a back injury, and avoided a second surgery in 1993 with the help of her daily yoga practice. Formerly a co-owner of Be Yoga Studios in Manhattan with her teacher Alan Finger, Jean developed and implemented a teacher training program for 2 major yoga studios in New York (Be Yoga and Yoga Works) which both gained a solid reputation among yoga teacher trainings. She is a teacher of teachers. Jean, considered a “Yoga authority” on iyoga Life, is currently director of the Workshop Program at ISHTA Yoga, teaches in NYC, and has been featured in many magazines highlighting her yoga career and in over 30 television episodes of “Yoga Zone” which were broadcast nationally and are currently available as retail dvds.

Moani Lee:

Moani Lee, beauty expert and make-up artist to the celebrated in
fashion, music, and film, brings an international awareness with her
approach to beauty and makeup. Moani was born in Surabaya, Indonesia to
a Hawaiian mother and a Korean father and appreciates all types of
beauty in the world. Trained at the exclusive Christian Chauveau in
Paris, she has been in and around the fashion/beauty industry for over
10 years. Her philosophy has always been to encourage the inner beauty
and enhance the outer beauty. She currently resides in New York and is a
regular contributor to the fashion and beauty blog Creative Reform

Tony LeRoy:

Tony LeRoy is a psychic with over 17 years of experience, whose gifts

school, she lived in Washington, DC and worked in Congress and at a
public policy research institute. She loves living in Denver where, for
her, happiness is a lot easier to pursue with 300 days of sunshine a
year!

Zaira Zafra:

Once upon a time, two Haitian immigrants found each and made a girl
child. That girl child watched her parents talk, fight, live and love in
a way that was open, ferocious, honest and sometimes incredibly
