I have a friend, whom I adore who hates to have her picture taken. In fact, recently she told me, with some sadness, that she never had her picture taken and so disliked it that she wouldn’t take a single one with her beloved family at this wedding she was going to that week. It was in that moment that I created this episode. If she feels this way, I know there are a lot more of you out there like this. And how lucky were we to get the gorgeous, game-for-anything Laurie Fetter to coach us all on posing for the camera?! Laurie, as a famous Playmate, knows what Sheila learned recently: pose for the camera with the idea of conveying how you feel and not worrying about how you look. That’s the key. Convey what you want, love, happiness, joy, and forget about how thin you look, how pretty, whatever. Remember: a camera captures a moment, not your look. Sheila loved Laurie. As she said, “Laurie and I hit it off right away. It’s the Chicago connection. It was so great walking through Central Park with Laurie, and watching all the guys watching her. She is as nice as she is beautiful! There was a great message to this fun episode. It’s important to look at your whole self and not pick out all the nit-picky things about yourself that only you see. Look for the beauty… it’s in everyone!”
