Intro to Happiness Series

We left this episode as the last one of the shoot because we knew, in a way, it was the most important one. We reallly wanted to show people how fun and exciting this series was going to be. And it was a fantastic day, sunny, warm, Central Park was at its most beautiful.

As Sheila points out, “I was so excited and nervous about being able to communicate properly all our intentions for this show. I wanted to make sure it was compelling and captured attention so people would tune in everyday.” This shoot took ten takes because we so wanted to get it exactly right. There was no improv on this one! Sheila feels, “It was important to let people know where we were taking them in the series. It was the last episode that we shot. At the end I start walking away from the camera, it seemed like I was walking far away, and I couldn’t stop till they called cut. Finally, I hear cut. I can’t tell you how uncontrollably happy I was. I screamed for Tania, and she and I ran screaming into each arms jumping up and down. Then the whole crew started hugging kissing each other. We were all so proud!”
